Bitter Melon .... Nutritional Benefits

A simple plant can kill 98% of cancer cells and also stop diabetes.    The Bitter melon is very low in calories but full of nutrients. It is an excellent source of vitamins B1, B2, B3, and C, magnesium, folic acid, zinc, manganese, phosphor, and has high dietary fiber. It is rich in iron, it contains twice the beta-carotene broccoli, spinach twice the calcium, and potassium twice for a banana.

Bitter melon contains a unique phyto-constituent having a hypoglycemic effect called charantin. There is also another compound known as insulin - like P polypeptide which have been suggested as a substitute for insulin in some diabetic patients.

Bitter melon is also effective in treating skin diseases or skin infections, eczema, and even sores on the skin. It has anti-viral properties and can be used for the treatment of herpes viruses. Another important benefit of the bitter melon extract is that it can also be used for the treatment of psoriasis.

This plant is widely used for its anti-inflammatory properties. Bitter melon is much more effective for its detoxifying property. Bitter melon helps in the reduction of blood pressure, blood sugar and also the temperature of the body.

The plant is a common vegetable in Asia and has as name bitter melon. (Momordica charantia - in Brazil, may be known as melon-de-são-caetano), is popular in the region of Okinawa, Japan.

The juice of the plant with 5% concentration dilute in water in studies has shown a surprising potential for combating the growth of four types of pancreatic cancers, two of which were reduced by 90% and the other 98% in great just 72 hours after treatment.

Does these laboratores studies serve as well for living animals? The answer is a resounding "yes"! Researchers at the University of Colorado applied doses in rats that would be proportional to humans, and they showed a 64% reduction in the size of their tumors, with no side effects. This level of improvement beyond those currently achieved with the use of chemotherapy for such a lethal cancer.

The head of research at the university, Dr Rajesh Agarwal, noted that the Chinese and Indian normal use the fruit in remedies for diabetes. Seeing that this disease tends to come before the pancreatic cancer, the doctor associated ideas, creating new courses in existing research.

The dose was six grams of bitter melon powder for an average-sized adult (75 kg). Large labs and pharmaceutical companies seek to find patentable petrochemicals that give the same result that God has put in this plant. They are flabbergasted as such unpretentious plant that can malnourished cancer without any complex chemistry.

At the Medical University Center of Saint Louis, Dr. Ratna Ray, Ph. D. and professor of pathology, led similar studies, first testing in breast and prostate cancer cells and then experiencing in head and neck cancers, which although represent only 6% of cases, they are aggressive and spread easily, sometimes starting at the mouth, throat, nose.

In fact, after four weeks of controlled treatment in animals, it reduced the volume and growth of tumors. The doctor says: "It is difficult to measure the exact result of treatment with bitter melon extract on the growth of cells, but combined with existing therapies and remedies can assist in the effectiveness of the fight against cancer."

Researchers recently found that the metabolic syndrome is mitigated by the benefits in glycolic metabolism. Great news, because it does not destroys cancer only but in a way, I believe it should be multifocal: in other words, strengthen the immune system, detoxify, eliminate dental infections and toxic materials from the teeth, alkalizing the body ,oxidize the body oxygen therapy, and provide specific nutrients to give a "headlock" in particular ways of cancer metabolism.

All cancer cells show an abnormal production of energy inefficient fermentation using glucose. Bitter melon can be a great ally to combat this abnormal energy production .
