Do you know what is Peri-Menopause?

Peri - Menopause is the period leading up to menopause and can last for several years. It usually arises around 45 years of age and is due to the decrease of estrogens. The most common symptom is the irregularity of the menses; however, there may be others, both physical and psychological, such as hot flashes (sweat crises and palpitations due to the dilation of the blood vessels in the upper part of the thorax, neck and head and Can last up to about 20 years after menopause); Urinary problems and atrophy of hormone-dependent tissues (such as the vagina and uterus); Depressions, insomnia and irritability; Hypertension, arteriosclerosis, headaches and vertigo. There may also be changes in metabolism, which can lead to obesity, thyroid problems, osteo-articular pain (due to loss of calcium), among others.

It should be noted that the symptoms vary from woman to woman and depend on factors such as lifestyle, health, profession, etc. Many of these symptoms can be prevented with adequate nutrition and it is necessary to take into account that at this stage it is even more important that the woman is followed regularly by a specialist who can help her to control these symptoms.

Effects of Cimicifuga racemosa favors the production of estrogen, anti-rheumatic, stimulates menstruation.

Indications of Cimicifuga racemosa - Alternative to hormone replacement therapy (HRT) in the event of disorders and symptoms related to menopause or pre-menopause, typically in case of heat waves.
